The War on the Poor continued yesterday. We were hoping to move on to say...bloodlust or Jesus... but Reppies just won't leave the poor (or anyone who uses public services) alone. Food stamps, welfare moms, unemployment, Social Security, SARTA were all stomped on.

Here's the pick of the litter:

Commenting on a Letter to the Editor, we have John Bixby, recommending soft eugenic measures to control the poor. (Paragraphed for easy reading, but spelling remains untouched).

Let's Show Some Compassion for People on Assistance

I honestly believe that I have a system that would work alot better than what we have now. First of all regarding unemployment limit it to 3 months period that is more than long enough to find another job and get back on your feet. Now on to our corrupt welfare system first off make everyone currently on welfare refile.

Second make it so everyone filing for benefits must submit to a drug test. If the drug test comes up positive you have a choice to either go to rehab or find a way to support yourself cause we wont. If you go to rehab you will then be subject to random drug testing and if you come up positive again your off welfare period.

Second if you get pregnant with another child while on welfare again your off. You could not support the kids you already have why would you have another that you cant support.

Third everyone applying for benefits would also be subject to a criminal background check if you have commited a crime withen three months of filing or commit a crime at any time while on welfare your off. We will not support criminals period.

Forth people on welfare will have their cases reviewed every three months to make sure they are not abusing the system. And finally fifth any adult on welfare must volunteer at least 30 hours a week to help and give back to the community that supports them. Its only fair we help you you help us.

This will also help to generate jobs because we will need more caseworkers to handle the welfare cases and also save money because I am sure their will not be as many people on welfare.

And who can forget Frank "Scrooge" Manello's odd belief that the government bribes voters with food stamps and confession that he stalks food shoppers.

Jerry, perhaps the 'anger and contempt' as you put it could be due to frustration at some people selling their votes in exchange for promises of more government handouts.

OBTW I have seen people buying steaks and lobsters using foodstamps. I have also seen foodstampers driving off in nice new expensive cars. Clean up the system and there will be more to go around for people who are truly in need of a hand.

How about agentorange's idea to send the unemployed to migrant camps in Hartville?

If the Girl Scouts can have a special mission for the migrants, they can certainly entertain the children of welfare recipients. Enough with the free ride. Either work or starve. Unless one is sick or disabled, there is simply NO EXCUSE. Anyone can pluck a chicken and anyone can pick a strawberry. I've done both.

No need to tax everyone for a service that only some people use. Raise the rates for those who use the service and let those who want to help to pay for those who use SARTA make generous 'tax free' donations to SARTA to subsidize the rates if they so choose. I'm sure that some wealthy liberals in the public sector would look at this as a win / win ....... a tax writeoff and warm and fuzzy.

It's hard to see How Do You Know collect our second place VID since all-in-all HDYK is OK by our book. We are concerned however, by his/her dangerous undemocratic tendencies. The SARTA tax renewal is not a property tax levy (if it were, we'd be more sympathetic), but a tax on consumable items that everybody pays when they buy something the government has declared taxable. So when Tim Timken and HDYK both run in to Speedee Foods for a can of Pringle's and a 6-pack of Bud Light, they're paying the same 0.25 percent sales tax. Two cents won't break either Tim or HDYK, but the loss may seriously harm Mr. Manello's solvency.

Finally, our First Place winner: John Bixby. We were going to explain here how Bixby's recommendations would boost the taxpayer dun (that is, budget) by billions, but theame19 took the time to show us. The only thing he forgot was that most of these state bureaucrats Bixby believes will swell the ranks of the newly employed would also be unionized sucking down his paycheck. oh oh.

It is obvious to me that from reading over some of these postings that some of you just hate the State of Ohio.

John Bixby comes to mind: Mr. Bixby wants to drug test everyone before they file for welfare benefits. He believes this will cut costs and help fix a broken system.

He is so wrong it is laughable!

Roughly five years ago, the last time I looked to be exact, there were approx. 35 million people across the country using some form of Public Assistance. Some received cash assistance, some food stamps and some medical benefits or a combo of the three. It would be impossible to determine the actual cost of these benefits because people's status change monthly but the number of those receiving benefits remains a constant. Needless to say, however, the amount of the costs of monthly benefits is substantial. All of which is funded by taxpayer dollars so keep this in mind.

Now you want to add drug testing into the mix. It is estimated by the Dept. of Health and Human Services that the approx. cost to drug test one person is roughly $400 dollars. This is a low end estimate meaning it would cost approx. $14 billions dollars a month to drug test each person each month at an annual cost of $168 billion dollars a year.

This is just to administer the tests, process the results and then deal with the following consequences. So now those of you that want to cleanse the system have to shell out an additional $168 billion dollars a year to drug test.

This is such a great idea I feel the urge to go to the bank, withdrawl all my cash, burn it, then dance while the ashes float into the sky.

There must have been 100 irrational, dumb, and nonsensical posts in the last 36 hours and at least 20 posters who qualify for VIOD awards. Many "writers" appear to be new posters unless they've been posting on jock stories that that I Hate Canton eshews like boiled fish heads --or of course, Octopuppet--always a possibility. The posts go beyond personal attacks on others posters though some are there. Personal attacks, in fact, might be a welcome relief (no, on second thought!) These posters are simply proudly stupid if not deranged. They would not be proudly stupid if they were forced to post under their own names. Would you want your neighbors or mom or boss or employees to read how stupid, mean, and bat shit crazy you are? If you think Dallas was "nut" town on November 22, 1963, come to Canton.

And why would they even contemplate including 'workbooks' with questions such as 'HOW CAN I HELP THE PRESIDENT?' This is SHAMEFUL conduct and not anything ever before attempted by any other president, regardless of his poltical affiliation.

The administration has taken his bully pulpit to extremes never before attempted and I am not even arguing that. What I will argue and what I will absolutely draw the lines upon is allowing this Rahm Emanuel controlled White House, or any White House, attempt to indoctrinate my children from the intended purpose of their attendance at school.

We are thrilled that we don't have to share office space or a backyard with these knuckledraggers. We hope that all sane Cantonians of good will and any political stripe have arranged for an escape hatch from this loonie bin.

It's hard to believe that Reppies could hate more than they have proven they can, but they've given it the old Can-town try, and they can. This afternoon, Reppies hate bombed Wireless Program Makes Phones Available Free to Low Income Households for Emergency Calls, shutting down the discussion. The article read in part:

TracFone launched SafeLink Wireless in Ohio this month, a free service that will provide eligible, low-income households with a free cell phone, mobile access to emergency services and free 68 minutes of air time each month....SafeLink has become part of the FCC’s Lifeline and Link-Up programs, which began in 1984. Link-Up helps consumers with telephone installation costs, while Lifeline provides discounts on monthly phone service. The aim was to make sure low-income people could reach out for help during emergencies.

The TracFone program is part of the Low Income Program of the Universal Service Fund (USF) administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company. It is funded by contributions from the USF collected as part of the US charge billed to cell phone users. It is not supported by federal tax dollars.

We read this story as an afterthought, and knew immediately to expect a full-frontal attack from the vermin that haunt the dank spaces of the Rep. We were right. We saved 52 comments before the thread was shut down. We are tempted to include all of them here, but that would be too much for the delicate stomachs of our civilized readers. We are, therefore, limiting comments here to the most ignorant, stupid, and ugly, classified under Racist, Sexist, and Classist. Some overlap, so we have arbitrarily chosen the major classification for each. We are particularly struck by the snivel of middle class entitlees that believe the poor lead the Life of Riley on their hard-earned dime. Or is that simply the unvoiced fear our snooty writers may soon be the recipients of free non-governmental cell phone service for the poor?

While we we are on this rant....While at Giant Eagle a few weeks ago, a savy on the public dole dirtback was inline ahead of me. I, a hard working, would like a steak once in a while guy witnessed the following. The well spoken, (yeah right) under nurished (obese) drain on society was very happy to yank out her free food card in front of me. I was pleased to buy her a couple of steaks and a few racks of ribs via her free food card...AKA welfare card......But being the scam artist she was>>>>SHE MADE SURE SHE USED HER GIANT EAGLE CARD FOR THE FUEL PERKS!!! I / WE paid for the food and she gets discounted gas! I asked the cashier if it is legal and she said it happens all day long. If thats not a crock of *&^% and for the record yes she did drive away in a newer SUV that I cannot afford to own..

A cell phone for emergencies I'm good with, it's the rest of the stuff thats killing us.

Even though some people are low income, they still manage to come up with all kinds of money to buy their cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, and lottery tickets. Let them buy and pay for a cell phone like everyone else. If you give them one for free, I'm sure that one of the emergency calls will be the need to call for pizza.

How can people on welfare and low income even afford cells phones? I may not be at poverty level, but I still cannot afford a computer line and cable and a cell phone, so I had to give up the cell phone so I could pay for my computer line and cable.

This sure teaches our poverty level citizens that it pays to not make over poverty level amounts.

Middle class pays for everything for everyone, when they cannot even afford to have it themselves.

Look at health care. Government get's the greatest health care there is and look who pays for it .

I have been in a welfare receipients home, their children have all kinds of video games, big picture tv,brand name clothes, (not from the Goodwill either), computer, all of their chidren have cell phones. These people are on Welfare and have more than I could ever imagine having. The furniture is all up to date, nothing out of style. The only thing they don't own is a home and they are probably smart not to.

I own a home, work my *** off, pay taxes and property taxes and still cannot afford things that these low income family's have. What is wrong with this picture is what I would like to know.

The mother doesn't work, they live in a house for free, (at least they have a roof over their head and don't have to pay for it). While I go to work everyday, have to pay taxes to keep a roof over my head and pay taxes to keep a roof over their heads while they are out buying computers, tv's, cell phones, nice clothes, and computer games. What is this teaching our society?

It just repeats iteself over and over again, they are not teaching their children anything but to live off of other people's tax money that is circulated to our government facilitiies.

They don't have to worry if they are going to have to have enough money to pay their property taxes to keep a roof over their head because they don't have too someone else is paying it for them. They probably don't have to worry about food either.

Where do they get the money for all these things is what I would like to know, but yet are at poverty level and getting government assistance.

No wonder everyone wants to live in America! Come on over, the middle class will pay for your children and you so you can have all the luxuries you want. Not need, want.

You're right,kayal276. I am for helping people, but not to the point that it causes entitlement mentality. I was behind a lady at the grocery store, her kids wanted some gum. She originally told them no, but they picked it up and gave it to her anyway. They chose the kind that were over $2 a pack, so that was $4 in GUM! She just took it from them, said ok, and paid for it with the foodstamp card. I bet if she would have had paid for that with actual cash money she would have thought about it a little more. For me, that would be almost a 1/2 hour of work. I would never pay $4 for gum.

I am sick to death of yet another freebie for low income. Where is the handouts for the middle class working their butts off.

My spouse works two jobs and I work myself . We pay our bills and help our children out a little with their education. There is not one freebie that I am aware of for the hard working middle class. The people I know that are low income already have cell phones and services on them that even I don't have due to the extra cost!!!! Maybe we could offer these recipients of the tracphones jobs instead.

More than 46,870 people in Stark Co.are eligible ??? No mention of what this program cost is but I guess no expense is too great for helping these poor low-income households. Free medical, housing, food stamps and now cell phones..........sometimes I wonder why I'm so stupid to keep working so hard to make ends meet when I could just give up trying and hopefully get on some of these programs.

Medicaid (hospitalization)
Food stamps (beer, wine, cigarettes, and Frito's)
Supplemental Security Income (spending money to buy some crack)
Free National School Lunch Program (mom was on crack and couldn't pack the Frito's)
General Assistance/Disability Assistance (can't have enough assistance can we, now I can park in the handicap spot at Wall Mart)
Home Energy Assistance (free gas, electric, and water)
Supplemental Security Disability Income (see two line above)
Ohio Works First or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (Maybe I should check this one out, sounds like a great way to get started at top of list)

Now 68 min for everyone in the household per month for emergencies, I wonder if the new baby gets one.

Come on people we can do better that this. How about a $200.00 gift certificate at Wall Mart per week, or free car insurance in case those 22's get stolen. Why don't we start a 401K program for them? I know, what about a round trip vacation to Disney World twice a year. You know those dumb tax payers won't even know the money is gone.

Why would anyone want a minimum wage job if they were getting all of the above? If you raised minimum wage to $20.00 per hour they would break even.

This is not about people who fall on hard times and use the program to get back on their feet. This is about the people who have MASTERED the program and are now in their 4th generation of living off the government.

I know a guy who recently told me to my face about his girl friend being on welfare. He makes over $90,000 a year acording to him. He told me he hasn't bought groceries for the last two years. She moved in with her two kids and life is good. He bragged about all the steaks they eat, and how much money she gets.

And yes you can get alcohol, cigerettes, and lottery tickets with your food stamps, you just haven't figured out the system yet. Would you like to trade $50.00 worth of food stamps for $20.00 cash?

i really dont know what to say about this article...my husband is a college graduate, had a wonderful job in com;puters,, we had a home, and i was a stay at home mom..my husband lost his job, we lost our house, and car..we were saved by help...i always looked down on people who got assistance....but now i am one of them..alot of people look down on us but you know what?? this system was supposed to be for people like my family and myself..not for people to abuse it and not do anything for themselves..but one thing needs to be address: if you want to spout negative things about getting these services you better be a little more educated about them...you CANNNNOT get alcohol and ciggies on food stamps...i, for one, will not be doing this program..there are alot more people out there worse off than myself who need these phones.. so in short, dont look down on us who actually try to do something with their lives and are on assistance..we really are trying to move forward..

These people who are on welfare all find money for cell phones and their nails and alcohol and smokes. Alot of them sell their foodstamps for a buck. ajcohio has a very warped view of people on public assistance, as dionnem99 (below) points out. We suppose it thinks it's funny. It's not. What do they say about protesting too much? BTW, we know people out in the 'burbs who consider a bag of Fritos (Not "Frito's") an adequate meal for man, woman, or child.

I agree with theame 19 why do u all have so much time on your hands to hate people who need help.. i just like you get up and go to work everyday TWO jobs and pay taxes at both of those jobs so i dont feel like you are paying for anything for me. i pay the same taxes u pay... i pay a mortgage just like you with no section 8 however i do get food stamps and medical and free lunch( by the way ajcohio i am not and have never been on crack) i put my clothes on and go to work just like you.. this really shows how ignorant people can be. the fact that u have a problem with people getting assistance is just crazy and that would be why our community is so divided now.. for those of you who are doing all this complaining hope that you never have to apply for government assistance if something goes wrong in your life because you will then see that even though you work hard you may still need help at one time or another.. i am not ashamed of the fact that i recieve food stamps or medical or qualify for this phone in fact i look at this all as a little savings plan... Since assistance is time-limited and measly, we find it difficult to believe that very many women of reproductive age would play Michelle Duggar to avoid getting a job and/or an employed husband.

We'd be more impressed if Frank and ds demanded the government facilitated starvation of John H's bankers, politicians and Wall Streeters.

Moreover, Mr. Manello opposes abortion, especially government subsidized, which might actually alleviate some of his stress over deadbeats and their progeny. We do not remember ds making any remarks about abortion, but we are sure he has and that he is also opposed. Not sure where either of them stand on birth control, but probably they support the "keep your knees together" method.

To be fair then, we must announce a tie for June 17's Village Idiot award. dsteelman1 and John H: two sides of the same coin, equally bankrupt, take a shared first place. Frank Manello, a stand-up guy who has the guts to use his own name, gets an Honorable Mention.

Castrate Them, Sterilize Them, Euthanize Them: What the Rep Thuggery Wants to Do to Welfare Recepients. And the Rest of Us Aren't Far Beind!

I Hate Canton cannot remember the last time we have been so aggravated by a Rep thread. We intended to let this one go pretty much after the March 31 entry, but the purposefully stupid comments continuing to emanate from the keyboards of the locals is indeed frightening. These comments are, I think, indicative of where "we" are going. Ostensibly about mandatory drug testing of welfare recipients, the thread is really about class war, race hatred, misogyny, eugenics, economic meltdown, and an increasingly out-of-control militarized culture. While forced drug testing, state or private, might be an inconsequential matter for some people, it serves as a psychological weapon in the broader war against free thought and action.

If you wonder how totalitarianism came to power in Europe between the two wars, all you need to do is read what our fellow Cantonians think of us, our neighbors, and the laws and Constitution of the United States. It's not much.

The article itself, States Consider Drug Tests for Welfare Recipients is a straightforward piece on states that have, or are considering, mandatory drug testing of welfare recipients.

I Hate Canton is generally opposed to drug testing, and certainly opposed to government mandated drug testing of anyone for any reason unless it pertains to criminal proceedings, in a few cases national security, or some other extraordinary purpose. We concede that private business can require drug testing of employees and in very limited instances may have sound reasons for the requirement. As an overall practice, though, it is inimical to individual rights and liberty interests. Coerced drug testing, either private or state sponsored, is an abrogation of the core meaning of the Constitutional right to private property: self ownership. Without self-ownership all other private property is meaningless. Forced drug testing is corporatism of the body.

The whole idea of drug testing begs the question: why are certain drugs good and others bad?

I Hate Canton hesitates to use wiki as a source, preferring to use primary sources, but in this case wiki offers a quick and good overview of the history of drug prohibition in the US and it's political meaning. The History Channel's Hooked: Illegal Drugs & How They Got That Way (type in title in search engine; it is also available in several parts on YouTube), is must-see TV for anyone interested in what makes a drug "bad." Should we be surprised that drug prohibition is rooted in race, demographics, protectionism, and Big Phrama profits? The government's right to define, and a citizen's duty to acquiesce, to what is "legal" and what is not to put into your own body is a singular marker of the "progressive" liberal corporate welfare state where the citizenry is required to look to the government for moral and politically correct de jour guidance.

Marijuana for instance, became criminalized in the wake of anti-immigration and racial hysteria following the 1910 Mexican Revolution when Mexicans streamed across the border bringing their recreational weed with them, much like Americans might bring their Marlboros if it were the other way around. Even Harry Anslinger didn't go along with it, until he realized he could make a career out of Protestant moral panic.

Opiates, too, were once legal and popular. They were available by prescription in drug stores. Before World War 1 some Canton saloons offered cocaine and opium over-the-counter (more or less). Canton reputedly hosted at least four opium dens located in rooms in the upstairs or side rooms of saloons. In the early part of the 20th century while Canton officials and police were busy cracking down on saloons, brothels, wine rooms, and gambling dens, they seldom gave fairly extensive local drug traffic, a second thought, even though the federal Opium Exclusion Act of 1913, made possession, except for Big Pharma's "medicinal "use, illegal.

Morphine came into popular use after the development of the hypodermic needle in 1853 and was used extensively to treat wounded soldiers in the Civil War. It was popularized as a "cure" for opium and alcohol addiction, and became a popular woman's drug that took care of cramps, depression, and "hysteria." Morphine, by prescription or otherwise, kept women, across the economic strata, in their place.

Heroin, developed by Bayer (the aspirin people) became a "cure" for morphine addiction, which later needed to be "cured" by Methadone. Is there a pattern?

And let's not even go into current legal drugs such as Dilaudid, Oxycotin, and the ever-popular and respectable Mothers Little Helpers which are quite legal and have made doctors rich for decades. Does anyone remember Canton's own Dr. Feelgood, Harold Schmuck? The good doctor who'd lost his privileges at old Mercy Hospital years before, was probably the largest purveyor of "diet pills" in Stark County until he was whacked in December 1973 by a customer/paid teenage boyfriend. For a few dollars a 98 pound woman could score a hundred speckled eggs from Schmuck to take off those extra pounds.

The point of this entry today is not drug laws, but the way the Canton thuggery cottons to the idea that it's OK for the government to hijack us. The thuggery likes the idea because just about anyone who collects "welfare" (and their definition varies to what that is--anything from WIC and food cards to unemployment compensation) is a drug addict, a drug dealer, a crook, a baby machine, a baby daddy, pickpocketing cash from the hard-working thugs to spend on undeserved pleasures. The thugs' willing ignorance of how the welfare system works and the demands and limits made on recipients is abysmal. Perhaps they're been told all about those welfare queens (and kings) by the titular head of the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, blathering on the radio how he had to spend 6 hours standing in line for his oxy at his local Welfare Royal's crib. But then, Rush's not on the public dole, or so they say.

Even surprising to I Hate Canton, is the doofy perception of Canton's Brainless Wonders that men collect welfare. Outside of disability or old age (and that's even rough) it is virtually impossible for a man, single woman, or childfree couple to collect public assistance. Welfare is a feminized ghetto inhabited by women and children. And what drug dealer in their right mind would want to collect public assistance, with its constant threat of government snooping? Not that some welfare collectors don't deal drugs or live or hang with people who do. Of course, they do. Just like some engineers, social workers, teachers, students, lawyers, secretaries, cops, executives, and doctors--especially doctors--do.

I Hate Canton is not condoning drug addiction or crime. Having spent some time with druggies and drunks, we know that they are not a pretty or intelligent sight. The issue though is larger: the old slippery slope. Though focused now on welfare recipients--or rather what the local thuggery thinks welfare recipients are--the real issue is the easy promotion of the subjugation of "the other"--the disenfranchised, the unempowered, the weak, the bum, and quite honestly, sometimes. the vile. It starts with them and works its way up. First they came for the Jews...then they came for....

With one exception.

Oddly, this desire to stick it to drug addicts, cheats, and the undeserving under the rubric of "welfare recipient," is not extended to real criminals: the real people in silk suits and $500 ties who have bankrupt this country. There is no cry for the head (or other parts) of insurance bonus babies, mortgage shysters, and stock market chiselers, or politicians and defense contractors who have mortgaged generations of Americans with imperialistic wars. Apparently, they're either too big to kick around or models the thugs emulate in their dreams. Drug test? Bernie Madoff?

The proliferation and acceptance of mandatory drug testing softens people to accept state intrusion in other intimate matters and to follow unquestioningly the authority and power of government and its cronies to lead and control of our lives as much as they can get away with. Inexplicably, none of this is apparent to our faithful Rep thuggery who in every other scenario declaim that Obama is stripping away our rights daily, including our right to private property, enslaving us with Godless Communism. They claim personal ownership and autonomy is unAmerican and has nothing to do with property rights.

To get the full, hair-curling or hair-straightening, as the case may be, effect of the thuggery in action, you really need to read the thread in the aggregate. I'm not sure if the hob-nailery in the sample below comes across as bad as the whole thing is. After you spend the morning being hammered in the head by these bullies (up to 273 comments as of this posting) you're ready to cop some rock yourself.

These comments also need to be read along side the habitual race baiting postings, sent constantly by the same drug-test huggers, which (ahem) suggests that they're a little more worried about the Black Menance that being pick-pocketed by the government in the name of drug dealers and baby mamas. Lets also take the same steps to those receiving unemployment checks. Drug free society means everyone. I don't see anything wrong with random drug testing. Unless you have something to hide, what does it really matter? This isn't a matter of profiling or labeling, it just makes sense.

Considering??? There are very few private-sector and NO government jobs that do not REQUIRE pre-application and random drug testing of ALL employees. Any group that feels this singling them out or an act of profiling or prejudice--please notice I said ALL employees. If this is enforced on the working-class, why does it even have to be 'considered' for any government aid that you are willingly signing up for?

Any one with a serious job get's drug tested .I mean people who make more than 20k a year. It's not selling your body. It's a safety issues with some jobs. As for the foster system, I know a little something about that. Remove the children as early in life as possible and they will be easier to place with loving families. If you can't keep yourself off drugs you don't deserve to set an example for future generations.

If you cant afford to provide for your family and our taxes once again paying for welfare, ssi (and i donteldery people that had worked and obtained their social security legally) i mean the people that are just plain LAZY and then complain because they dont have enough 'FREE MONIES to get through the month, and all the other agencies then make sure that the monies sent out to these families are truely in need.

When I was 17, I saw the mushrooming african population all over the world and read the growth statistics, and I knew that if the world's leaders didn't force those individuals to put a cork in it, we'd be overrun with hungry african people by the time I was thirty. And sure as heck, we are. I watched part of one of those 'Feed the Children' ads they're constantly putting on the tube, begging for always more money to feed the starving africans that are being born faster than they can find diapers to put on them. They panned across a scene that made me sick, literally. It was hundreds of small african children, all sitting at long benches side-by-side, shoveling down huge mouthfuls of food from hundreds of bowls just as fast as they could cramm it down. And who was serving them but an army of very pregnant african females, all about to add to the problem while lazy african males laid up just outside the range of the cameras, stuffing their faces and keeping the women fat and pregnant. All they know how to do is eat and make more children. It's literally like sweeping the desert with a toothbrush. An exercise in total futility. For no matter how many starving children they feed, tomorrow there's twice as many clambering at the door, wanting white people to feed them. More and more and more and more children as fast as they can pop out. And those idiot Christian organizations are dumping vast amounts of money down a bottomless pit that's serving no purpose and solving no problems...

What do we have to do to ensure that this comes to stark county soon? I am all for this. if i have to take a drug test to keep my job which pays for the welfare system then those who take this money should have to take a drug test to receive the money. But lets not stop there, if you owe child support you should not be allowed to buy extras in life like tobacco, alcohol, sport tickets, ect.
