Well i don't want to burst everyone's bubbles BUT there are more just like them walking your streets wanting to be gangsters with no respect for adults or authority of any kind. I see it all over the place. And if you try and say something you get cursed and threathened. My one friend told me once to leave the problem alone casue if not i'd become the victim. It had something to do with someone playing there music real loud... I seen two young ladys walking in the middle of the road on a slippery curve and put my window down and said be careful walking it's slippery and you might want to get on the sidewalk.. I was called everything but a white man ..So get used to this kinda news .. it's a on going thing...Until parents and guardians start to teach there kids brothers sisters ect ect respect for there fellow human being... Reppie bloodletters are at it again.

When we last left dsteelman1, he'd won a IHC-CIA -sponsored trip to the Middleastern country of his choice to whack as many prisoners he could work into his 10-day vacation. Unfortunately, the tickets remain in our Hartville mail drop awaiting pick-up. Now, he's proferring a suggestion that the State of Ohio can clear out its bloated prisons by shooting all of its "violent" prisoners and then move in the "misdemeanor' folks" to fill the vacuum. And, we assume, save dreaded government jobs for the (mostly) lesser class, though he fails to mention that windfall

ANyone who thinks all the prisoners are just misunderstood victims of their upbringing, please start protesting to get ALL of them released.

You want better prisons?? Then make the prisons for the 'misdemeanor ' folks.

Shoot all the violent offenders. You would have plenty of room then. Lower taxes due to less people in prison. I say its a win-win.

Someone on here said we have 4 million people in the prison system. How bout we shoot all the violent ones and see how fast people shape up??

I Hate Canton loves new contestants. While Canton may suffer from unemployment, foreclosure, crime, and baggy pantsism, it continues to churn out an alarmingly high rate of uninformed louts who in a functioning civil society would be relegated to the attic.

Take Juanita Bowling, for instance. We regret we haven't archived her earlier posts, which to say the least have intrigued us with charm and erudite observation, but we shall be watching her more closely in the future.

There's nothing like a good execution--or a botched one--to get Reppies going. Over the last few days we've read comments in two threads that would warm the hearts of Fernando Alvarez de Toledo aka The Iron Duke of Alva and famous Ottoman executioner Soulfikar regarding:

(1) the attempted state execution of Romell Broom, whom the state's killer-for-hire spent 2 1/2 hours poking with a needle before they both called it a day;

(2) the murder of a Maple Heights mail carrier.

It's not like I Hate Canton doesn't understand abstract revenge. We frequently fantasize about boiling some of our VOID's in a nice goat's head soup. As hard as it is to accept, however, the US is a country of laws. If we personally metted out revenge on whim, the population would be culled to the bare minimum--or less.

Why is it when thugs and perverts hurt their victems, the victems rights are never spoke of ? But the minoute they are found guilty we must thing of the scums rights. Reppies long ago established themselves as trigger happy, blood thirsty, vindictive judge-jury-and executioners. Last week we read numerous suggestions on how locals should strip the accused killers in the Eakin/Mammone and Ruffin/Pierce/Pinney cases of their Constitutional right to due process and just take them out and shoot/hang/and otherwise kill them. Then we had the letter from Raymond Johnson, Quick Execution of Convicted Killers Will Benefit Taxpayers, Reduce Crime (title self-explanatory) that got "Champ" his coveted June 16 Village Idiot Award.

Just when you think stupid can't get any stupider, comes Charles W. Roeser. The Jackson Township resident wants drug users shot on sight.

Let the nonviolent ones out of prison and require them to take random drug tests for three years at their own expense. If they test positive, shoot them. Since only a minuscule number of accused killers are indicted, prosecuted and convicted with death penalty specs, we are waiting for Mr. Champ to elaborate on his plan to cleanse Ohio's prisons of killers without scrapping the laws of Ohio and the US Constitution.

I Hate Canton makes special note of "Champ's" mathematical skills. According to the February 9, 2009 Columbus Dispatch, Ohio had a prison population of about of 47,000 (yeah, you read that right.) Out of that number, according to the April 1, 2009 Dispatch, citing the Capital Crimes Report issued by Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray, 175 were on Death Row.

I agree 100% Saddam Hussein was given the death penalty and had 30 days to think about what was to come. 30 days later he met his maker. He is no longer a parasite to the taxpayers. I can't think of a better deterrent to murder than this 30 days and out. We urge Champ and his followers to check out the 1901 reenactment of the execution of William McKinley's assassin, Leon Czolgosz published by I Hate Canton earlier. We hope it inspires Champ and his friends to stage a reenactment of Canton's very own triple execution documented in Jim Artzner's novel, The Black Minute. It's out of print, but the downtown Stark County District Library has 6 copies.

In retrospect, I Hate Canton should have awarded "Tina S" with yesterday's Village Idiot Award, but "Tina" deserves a special place in our hearts and minds. Rumor has it that "she" is a local male wannabe politician. What better way to start that journey to City Hall than by making stupid, incoherent remarks on the online edition of the Rep?

In the meantime, here are some other worthies to consider:

First, we have our friend Ottertk1. He wants to execute any convicted felon found with a firearm. Our resident barcolounge brigade should appreciate that kind of tough original legal thinking.

Many of these shootings were committed by convicted felons with guns. If they get caught, they get a slap on the wrist or plea bargain their way out of the charge. It's time to save lives. If a convicted felon gets caught with a firearm, they must be sentenced to death. By making the penalty for having a gun so severe, the majority of convicted felons will start giving guns a wide bearth. People's lives are at stake and it's better to bury a felon, then an innocent child or loved one.
