I Hate Canton says a BIG HELLO to The Place, a forum for discussion focusing on Stark County--and its keeper Jim Hardy. The Place has been around for awhile, but only recently has Dr Hardy promoted it.With civil discussion dead at the Rep, at least as long as Octopuppet & Entities are allowed to post, we are happy to find another "safe" forum. We especially like the registration statement, which reads in part

(If Dr. Hardy can keep a record of IP numbers and track down and expel abusers, we wonder why the Rep can't.)
Dr. Hardy is conservative, but he's no Reppie. And dare we add: a regular commenter to I Hate Canton. We look forward to the discussions. Some Rep regulars are already there.

Thanks Jim,. We registered earlier today, but according to the bot (we guess) we don't exist, even though our name is on the membership list.
Sometimes the notice I'm supposed to get will get hung up. It should work now.
